Old School RuneScape
Storm Client has closed. Here’s an alternative.
On 4 July 2026 Storm announced it was “closing, effective immediately”, and its website and client stopped working. Its developer said recent Stripe purchases would be refunded automatically.
If you are owed a refund, that is a matter for Storm’s own support; we can’t help with it. If you want to keep scripting, Project X is one option.
What Project X is
The client
Our own Old School RuneScape client, built on RuneLite. It looks and plays like the RuneLite you already know.
The store
Scripts for skilling, combat, bossing, minigames, money making and quests. A script appears in your client within a minute of buying it.
Reviewed scripts
Every script is submitted with its source and read by a person before it is listed, and the client checks each download against a published fingerprint.
Pricing
Pay for 1 week, 2 weeks or 1 month at a time. Nothing auto-renews and no card is kept on file. X Tokens are $1 each, paid by card or crypto.
Your account
One Discord sign-in. What you buy follows your account, not your PC.
What's different from what you're used to
- There is no bundled lifetime plan. You buy scripts one at a time, for the length you want.
- The catalogue is younger: 97 OSRS scripts today. If the one you used is missing, ask for it on the Requests page.
Status as publicly reported (OSRS Best in Slot), last checked 11 October 2026. Project X has no connection with Storm Client, and Storm Client is a name belonging to its owners.
